Server at The Drop on Martini Corner

After a crash course in empathy working with autistic adults at the Center for Developmentally Disabled for a few months, I returned to the service industry. It should duly be noted that my duties at The Drop were not greatly dissimilar to a general manager.

Server at Californos

Bartended, served, ran the door and did high end banquets.

Server Assistant at Accurso's Italian Restaurant

Turned tables over and took used plates and glassware off of customers' tables.
Greeted and chatted with guests in passing to sooth them. Went on catering trips alone and with the manager/owner. Took care of maintenance issues.

Server Assistant at Grand Street Cafe

Turned tables over and took used plates and glassware off of customers' tables.
Drove the catering van defensively to the location and pleasure of the customer. Took care of maintenance issues.

Marcus has now managed two different restaurants, Little Caesar's and McDonald's. He has been front desk agent at Best Western, and has done MLM work with LifeVantage.
