Perfect Proverbs 31 Women!

I have a theory about certain women. Bear with me, because it'll take explaining.

I think there is such a thing as a "Perfect Woman".

Ok. First of all, obviously the Bible is abundantly clear that no one has ever been or ever will actually be PERFECT. I just think that if there's any validity to the dominion I have through the power of Holy Spirit, thus my opinion having the authority of classification, then people could perhaps trust my judgment on how a certain type of woman is about as perfect as one could find.

Allow me to elaborate. All right here we go. I grade it like the DSM V. There are let's say for the sake of time and space 10 criteria, seven of the 10 to be met, for me to regard a woman as "perfect". Here's some Bible passages, 18 verses out of the 31 verses in Proverbs chapter 31, and 16 verses out of the 33 verses in Ephesians chapter 5, to establish the framework. Since it is common for people today to sort of blur gender roles, I included the standards for godly women and for godly men in my one subjective opinion. This is what an actual "perfect woman" is like, as far as getting as close as virtually possible, to being perfect:

  1. She's trustworthy. I can trust her.

  2. She has a good work ethic. She's independent.

  3. She'll go to any lengths to do the next right thing.

  4. She's a good mom and a good boss.

  5. She's loyal and courageous.

  6. She is the example of the right kind of religious. See James 1:27.

  7. She cleans up nice, and it's contagious.

  8. She's obedient to God.

  9. She's sober.

  10. She's got creative and peacemaking talent. She can meet one where they're at.

Proverbs 31 -

10 Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11 The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

(She's trustworthy. I can trust her.)

12 She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13 She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. (She has a good work ethic. She's independent.)

14 She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar. (She'll go to any lengths to do the next right thing.)

15 She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. (She's a good mom and a good boss.)

17 She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. (She's loyal and courageous.)

18 She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

20 She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. (She is the example of the right kind of religious. See James 1:27)

21 She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. (She cleans up nice, and it's contagious.)

23 Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.

Ephesians 5 -

14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. (She's obedient to God.)

18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; (She's sober.)

19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; (She's got creative and peacemaking talent. She can meet one where they're at.)

20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

I've just got to be a Proverbs 31 and Ephesians 5 man!

But anyways, this type of woman is about as rare as they come, as I've only met five or six, may seven of them. This is in the past two or three, maybe four years. Like, I may be able to count the amount on one hand, so I feel charged to meet the specifics for a MAN! I have to stay sober and do the next right thing MYSELF. So, if you know you meet these standards at least SLIGHTLY, through the Blood of Christ and His Spirit, then remember Galatians 6:9!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not."

Happy trails for now, all! Keep reaping!
